This generic movie with it's paper thin characters does not make for an entertaining viewing experience.

Four teenage girls go cave diving and explore a sunken Mayan city. They soon discover the cave is inhabited by killer sharks. Who are blind. Will the girls escape this underwater nightmare? Find out in: 47 Meters Down: Uncaged!

This is a shitty slasher movie but with a shark. The characters are cardboard, there's zero suspense and it wastes its underwater location. The behaviour of the sharks was so ridiculous it kept taking me out of the movie. There's no fun to be had (except for maybe a very silly ending scene) because, for the most part, it takes itself way too seriously. In all, it's an unjustified sequel.

If the movie was more like it's wacky ending, I'd have probably enjoyed it.

Why you should watch:

  • You're a glutton for punishment. But I'd recommend just finding a clip of the ending.

Why you shouldn't watch:

  • You value your time and sanity.
