Carpenter's film is anti-capitalism, a satirical masterpiece that also includes one of the most amazing fights ever put to film. The score is great as you could expect from a Carpenter film. Piper has some great one-liners and Keith David is great as always.
Bonus: Keep your eyes open for a sighting of the PKE Meter from Ghostbusters.
Why you should watch:
You want a clever, satirical horror movie.
You like great stunts and action.
You love a good one-liner.
Why you shouldn't watch:
You don't like movies that take a while to get to the action.
Do you think a 5+ minute fight scene sounds boring?
